This guide is intended for users who are trying to access/use their team or league website. A user is anyone who intends to view your website content.
All websites are of the format http://sitename.teamlobby.com where sitename is name selected website name. Assuming you obtained a URL such as above from your site creator, access the site using your favorite browser. Once your website is successfully loaded, determine if your website type is PUBLIC, PROTECTED or MODERATED and refer to section 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3 below. You can check the type of site quickly by referring to screenshots below.
1.1 Public Site
If a team website is of type "public", you can browse the complete site content without registering. However, registering and subscribing has lot of benefits and its free. Refer to section #3 below.
1.2 Password Protected Site
If a team website is of type "password protected", you must enter password set by your site manager to access site content. You don't need to register to access the site. However, registering and subscribing has lot of benefits and its free. Refer to section #3 below.
1.3 Moderated Site
If a team website is of type "moderated", you should be registered user and approved by manager to access the site. Please follow the following steps to get access to the site.
- On your site homepage, click on Register link. Registration is simple, free and easy. After registering, you will be automatically logged in. If not, login and navigate back to your homepage.
- Click on "Request Subscription" link and inform your manager you have requested subscription. You can also provide your userid to your sitemanager who can approve the subscription request.
- Once the subscription is approved, you will have full access to view the site.
To participate in forums, vote on polls, you are required to get a username by registering to TeamLobby first. egistration is simple, FREE and easy. After registering, you will be automatically logged in. If not, login using the "login" link.
On your website you may noticed subscribe link. By click on subscribe like you will have following advantages --
- You can vote on polls, post comments, forum topics
- Your site manager can grant you admin access if needed.
- If your site is "password protected", by subscribing you can avoid entering password everytime.
(Please note you have to explicitly click "logout" to logout of your session.)
Please register, login and subscribe to your team or league website to participate in forums or vote on polls.
Login, go to http://www.teamlobby.com, Click on My Account --> My Profile. Click Edit. Scroll down to "Team Website Settings" and adjust your preference of receiving email notifications.
